Donald and Laura joined Wycliffe to reach the language communities who need God’s Word. They have been serving for 20 years and were based in the southern Philippines for 10+ years.

Donald has held various administrative roles serving all of Asia. Currently he supports Bible translation remotely as the Director of Finance and Operations for Europe and Asia.

While in Asia, Laura used her musical background to encourage indigenous communities to worship with their own art forms, and held several HR roles. Now Laura is a certified coach to fellow missionaries. She helps them prevent burnout, manage stress, and remain healthy and faithful for their long road of service. She also leads the Global Coaching Community of Practice, which supports our mission leaders and coaches worldwide. Laura continues to address multiple health issues.

Donald and Laura live in South Carolina and have two adult sons.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
