Duane and Shirley count it an honor and privilege to have served with Wycliffe since 1988. They spent over half their missionary career in Cameroon, Africa working in strategic support roles.
Following their return to the US, Duane continued his role as vernacular media consultant, working around the globe, focusing on unreached people groups.
After 38 years of service, the Troyer’s retired December 31st, 2025. In Retirement, Duane and Shirley would appreciate your prayers as they continue to serve the Lord locally with prison ministry, men’s discipleship and international student hospitality. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
