John & Rhonda began missions service with Wycliffe in ’87 and are currently serving in NC at the JAARS Center in multiple capacities: PR / Speaking, Tours & Global Church Engagement/Coaching ‘ER’ (External Relations) with partner field organization. From 1998 to 2011, they served in Manila, Philippines at the Asia Area and Philippines headquarters. John in ‘ER’ and Visa-Travel Services. Rhonda used her creative talents in teaching art and supporting John in ‘ER’. Daniel was in the U.S. Air Force and currently with the National Defense, Michael also with U.S. Air Force, currently global finance firm. Prior to Manila, Strawsers served in Indonesia for 7+ years, John as a JAARS pilot serving almost 100 villages in remote areas. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
