THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Garcia, Rachel

Garcia, Rachel

Rachel is originally from Maine, US, where she grew up on a homestead as the oldest of six children. She went into business and had a successful career in management at a national level, executing on sales strategies, team restructuring and development initiatives as well as efficiency and technology solutions. However, she carried a lifelong call of God to take the gospel to the nations, and pursuing this calling led her to start doing short-term missions trips. Rachel left her career in September 2024 to pursue full-time missions work, initially working to raise the support needed to launch.

Rachel is a multi-faceted, high-energy individual who identifies barriers and inefficiencies quickly and is able to come up with effective strategies to overcome them. She currently serves on the Church Relations Team as Manager of Operations. In this role, she overseas and directs new projects and initiatives to support relationships with US based churches and to procure funding for translation projects worldwide. Last year, the Church Relations team was able to work with hundreds of pastors and churches, and also to help these churches partner with Bible Translation in 15 different countries!

The Garcia's are parents to seven children, ranging in age from the oldest, turning 20 years old July 2026 to the youngest who turned 1 in January 2026. Rachel seeks to serve the Lord in every facet of her life, from the worship team at her local church, to tutoring within her Classical Conversations homeschool community, which the school age children attend. Rachel holds a BS in Organizational Leadership, and is currently in seminary at Dallas Theological Seminary, pursuing a ThM with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling and Worship Studies. Rachel's husband, Jose, is currently studying Biblical Counseling at Liberty University.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
