The unprecedented pace of Bible translation in the world today—4,041 active projects and counting—has led to a critical shortage of qualified translation consultants. Every new translation of God’s Word goes through a rigorous process supervised by a trained consultant checking for accuracy, clarity, and naturalness. Andrew is a Bible Translation Consultant and Sophia is an expert in Biblical Hebrew.

Having served in a variety of countries and roles since joining Wycliffe 15 years ago, we currently work with the SIL Southern Africa Service Group (SOA) and the Global Sign Languages Team (GSLT) remotely from Minnesota, serving the South African Sign Language Bible Translation Project since 2019.

We can only bring God's Word to the Bibleless peoples of southern Africa because of our team of prayer and financial partners. We would be honored for you to join our Wycliffe ministry team!

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
