Kendall and Renee Isaac worked in Cameroon in various roles for over 20 years. Kendall helped several language groups, including Lefa, Suo, Bana, among others, to analyze how words and sentences go together in order to improve accuracy and naturalness in translation. Renee taught in the MK elementary school and international middle/high school

The Isaacs returned to the US last summer to support their family. Their youngest son, Zach, joined their middle son, Nate at Mississippi State University, from where their oldest, Ben, has just graduated. They are also seeing how they can support both of their mothers.

Kendall is maintaining a part-time assignment to Cameroon, taking trips back to help with workshops and training and participating in long-distance work (including mentoring an African linguist in training). But he has also taken a new assignment in user support for FLEx, a program used for linguistic analysis and dictionary development. He hopes to help others use this tool to gain the insights and tools necessary to meet the goal of seeing people using a deeper, conscious understanding of their own language to translate well and naturally, ultimately so that others in their community can be impacted by God's word in a language that speaks to them.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
