Jim is currently a Translation Consultant with Seed Company, an affiliate of Wycliffe Bible Translators. He travels internationally, mostly in Francophone Africa, working with Bible translation teams – training translators and consultant checking translations of mother tongue Scriptures for accuracy and clarity prior to publication.

Jim & Petey have served Bible translation programs having spent over 20 years in West Africa. With rich experiences in linguistic research and literacy they also facilitated the formation and training of a team of national translators who completed translation of the Oniyan New Testament and Genesis, dedicated in 2017. Jim has also had roles in field leadership and language project management and training for Senegal, The Gambia, and Guinea-Bissau.

Now based in South Carolina, Jim and Petey are thankful for the opportunity to continue to be part of what God is doing through His people in bringing the message of reconciliation to those still waiting.
