Lyle and Stacey have been serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1986 and served in Papua New Guinea (PNG) from 1994-2019.
The Wyse’s passion is to see God’s Word in every language and in every heart.

Since 2020, Lyle has been leading aviation safety as the Safety Manager at JAARS Aviation. JAARS Aviation prepares people and aircraft to provide for the tremendous transportation needs in Bible translation in many remote parts of the world. With his safety and field experience, his service is essential in preparing others to serve safely oversees.

Stacey is the Director for Coaching & Mentoring. In all the roles she has served, her passion is to see multi-cultural teams equipped for their roles, serving the Lord together in open and honest communication, transforming the communities where they live and work. She is able to serve people throughout the world by training, coaching and mentoring online.

Their children grew up in PNG and are now married and living in the USA.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
