The Schrocks have been a part of Bible Translation since 1999, having lived and worked in Oaxaca, Mexico for twenty years. They now live in Catalina, Arizona, and are part of a community that supports the translation of God's Word into the many indigenous languages of the world.
In August 2026, Greg took a new position with Wycliffe as Member Financial Liaison — a role that draws upon his many years of finance experience to help guide other Wycliffe missionaries through various financial issues. Going on the mission field is a calling by God — but it often results in many complicated financial situations! Greg supports the Wycliffe missionaries so they can keep their focus where it belongs: bringing God's Word to the people group that they are working in.
Mary Ellen also supports other Wycliffe missionaries — by helping them with the education of their kids. Over the years, she has been the director of the homeschool program, art teacher, principal, and most recently, she is the Children's Education Coordinator supporting the Wycliffe teachers and families in Mexico. Mary Ellen is transitioning to a new role this fall at our local Catalina office for Wycliffe Mexico. She will be serving in Member Care, and as an assistant to our Catalina office administrator.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
