Gary & Ellie Sikma

Gary and Ellie are excited to be part of Wycliffe, which aims to help the Bibleless and change lives through God’s word. Scripture in the heart language is foundational to knowing God and growing in a relationship with Him.

Gary is the Director of Field Technology and Data Services as well as a Strategic Innovations Consultant. He leads teams that bring cutting-edge technology to Bible translation work worldwide. He supports the development of innovative tools and systems, helping translation teams work more efficiently and effectively, which brings Scripture to language communities faster. He also ensures accurate tracking of translation progress worldwide, so everyone can see where God is at work and where the need remains greatest, accelerating the movement to bring God's Word to every language.

Ellie is a Senior Philanthropy Advisor, connecting with faithful supporters of Wycliffe, building meaningful relationships through prayer, encouragement, and updates on the translation work being done around the world. She helps donors see how their generosity brings God's Word to communities still waiting for the Bible in their own language, while also raising awareness about the ongoing need for Bible translation globally.
