Steve and Melissa have served with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 2009. They moved to West Asia in 2010 to work alongside the *Spring people, a group of over 13 million. After a decade on the ground, circumstances required them to relocate, and in 2021 they settled in Germany to continue their work remotely and host visiting local translators.
For many years, Steve served as an exegete and project manager for the Old Testament translation and New Testament revision of the *Spring Bible. They are thrilled that the full Bible was recently completed and is scheduled for printing in early 2027. Today, Steve serves as a Bible translation consultant and also focuses on resourcing and training for various projects across West Asia. Melissa leads their country team as well as working in project management and administration.
They have three sons: Hezekiah and Isaiah are both in college and studying engineering in the US, while Joel is in 10th grade at Black Forest Academy in Germany.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
