Steve’s current task is to find a way to explain key Biblical concepts to translators who might not have a Christian background and might not speak English well. There is already a book out on key Biblical terms, and it has been widely used for many years. But it’s out of date, and the number of terms it covers is somewhat limited. Steve has identified more than a hundred concepts that should be explained, and writing them up will keep him busy for some time. Steve also works on key Biblical terms with the Spoken English Bible (SEB) team. The SEB is on the cutting edge of research for a translation approach called oral translation.
Debbie spends about half her time caring for grandchildren, and lately she has been caring for a foster grandchild, too. But she continues to be a professional Life Coach. It’s not unusual to see her on a video call in the evenings, Friday, or Saturday. Nor is it unusual for her to meet with someone for coffee. She works with Dallas International University (DIU) students, former DIU students, and missionaries. (DIU does not pay Debbie or other staff for their work. DIU is a missions school run by missionaries. Debbie does Life Coaching as her missionary service.)

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
