Tim Tillinghast worked in Africa from 1995 to June 2016. He moved to Germany in 2016 to provide logistic support to the SIL Executive Director. His work is to manage administrative and logistic details for the Executive Director and his leadership team as they lead the Bible Translation and Language Development work in Africa, the Americas, Eurasia, Asia and the Pacific.
In 2024, Tim moved back to the US where he is continuing in his same role through May of 2025. Since May 2025, he has been serving SIL's new Executive Director. In January 2026, he will begin working half time with Native American Language Revitalization. Tim enjoys visiting new places, learning languages and riding his bike!

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
