THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Mark & Estella Trostle

Mark & Estella Trostle

Having seen the impact of God’s Word in their own lives, Mark and Estella believe that every person should have access to the Scriptures in a language they best understand. For over 35 years they have served in various administrative roles within Wycliffe, both in the U.S. and Papua New Guinea (PNG). From 1994-2004 they organized and led Discovery teams of college students to various places around the world. Next, they served as Missions Coordinators at their home church, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship (Dr. Tony Evans), while also doing African American missions mobilization for Wycliffe. In 2009 the Trostles moved to Papua New Guinea to serve with the PNG Bible Translation Association (BTA). Their first role was Church Engagement among PNG churches, giving vision for the ministry of Bible translation. In 2014 they started a Staff Care program for their BTA co-workers. After 10 years with BTA they returned to the U.S. to take care of family needs. In 2020, Mark and Estella began serving with Global Partnerships, which serves Bible translation projects around the world. They currently work from Dallas as Field Coordinators for translation projects in the Pacific and make trips to PNG and the Solomon Islands encouraging and assisting partners. Estella is also blessed to serve on the Wycliffe Board of Directors.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
