Ray and Judy work at the International Linguistics Center in Dallas, Texas.

Ray is a Zoom administrator for SIL Global (a Wycliffe partner organization), an IT support specialist, and the Audio/Visual systems manager for the Center. He supports the local IT help desk, software, and PC hardware for the people that work on the Center. This includes troubleshooting, and configuring new and replacement computers for our co-workers so that they can effectively do their part for Bible translation. He also refurbishes donated laptops for deployment to our translation partners worldwide.

Our Zoom video conferencing accounts connect staff for translation and administrative project collaboration, training, and management. Video conferencing is an essential tool for our co-workers spread out around the world. We average over 5,500 meetings on Zoom every month, from language translation work to top leadership global broadcasts. Ray administers these accounts and helps co-workers when they have difficulties or questions about how to best utilize Zoom for their specific situations.

The Center's two largest meeting spaces have Audio/Visual systems that include camera systems for video conferencing. There are five A/V systems in other meeting spaces across the campus. Ray manages all of these systems: training A/V operators, managing and repairing the gear, replacing components, and upgrading the systems as necessary. These systems support meetings and conferences for Wycliffe and its partner organizations, including the biennial Bible Translation Conference which brings hundreds of participants from around the world.

Judy homeschools Abigail. Amanda is in graduate school for a PhD in Occupational Therapy.
