For almost 30 years the Yanac family has been living in the Andes Mountains of Peru where Ade and Rachel serve the South Region as Scripture Access team leaders. In this role, they meet with and encourage both national and expat leaders who are promoting Scripture use and engagement in minority languages throughout the region. Starting this year, they will also be mentoring a new team of Latino missionaries who are assigned to help with Scripture engagement work in several different language groups in Peru and Colombia. Locally, the Yanacs work closely with a Quechua mission that promotes literacy and Scripture engagement in five different Quechua language groups.
Rachel credits a missionary family from her childhood church with introducing her to the work of Bible translation, and Ade feels privileged to be bringing God’s Word to his own people in their Quechua language. Danny and Luis enjoyed growing up as Peruvian-Americans and experiencing the best of both cultures. Now young adults, they have both begun university studies as they look ahead to the next phase of their lives.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
