Benard Abraham Ameh is a language survey consultant in training who has been faithfully serving with the Language Survey Department since 2018. His role is foundational to the Bible translation process, as he conducts essential research and fieldwork that lay the groundwork for successful translation projects. This involves visiting language communities to study the languages spoken, assess language vitality, and understand their aspirations for language development.
Benard also has a deep passion for evangelism. He is committed to sharing the gospel with people in various communities, especially among those whose heart language has yet to be reached. His calling became deeply personal when he witnessed the powerful impact of God's Word in his own mother’s language a moment that stirred his desire to reach single-language speakers like her with the life-transforming message of Scripture in the language they understand best. This project is to help Benard in raising funds towards his ministry budget so he can be part of this work.
