Courage is transitioning to a coordinator role where he is supporting the other Nigerian Missionary Staff Missionaries. He has served with SIL Nigeria since 2020, first by creating local language Scripture media resources in the Vernacular Media Services Department. Courage desires that through his new role, God will bring great fruit in the ministry of the missionaries he supports, all while allowing them to provide for their families.
God called Courage into missions after watching his father’s pastoral ministry, and later called him specifically to Bible Translation, through seeing and experiencing the clarity that reading God’s word in one's own language brings. Courage is married to Dee, a Wycliffe missionary working in project management with SIL Nigeria, and God has blessed them with a son, Excellence ('Lence' for short) or Kazayet (which means, 'God is good' in JJU language.
