Praise the Lord for a successful dedication of the *Makori New Testament in February 2025!!! We are thankful for this milestone event.

The *Makori Scripture Engagement Project exists to support Scripture and non-Scripture translation work (e.g., OT translation; discipleship materials) by making these materials available to people in different scripts (i.e., roman, ajami) and in various formats (i.e., audio, video, and printed media). Literacy courses are used to teach and develop new readers among the people, while new reading materials are regularly introduced into the *Makori library. Trauma Healing workshops are coordinated to help the wider population cope with different crises in the region (e.g., terrorist activities and food insecurities). These activities support the central goal of the project by making the truths of God's Word known and available in this part of W. Africa.
