The Yazai/Zaiwa project completed the New Testament and initial literacy training in 2009. The project is now focused on translating the Old Testament, as well as expanding the literacy program and developing initial Scripture engagement strategies. Specific activities during the next three years include:
- training 40 additional teachers;
- training 100 church workers in Scripture Use principles;
- starting 80 listening groups using the audio New Testament;
- reprinting the New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs.
