Making Translated Scriptures More Accessible
Not all can read and not all who can read like to read.
How will non-readers hear the transformational message of Christ from the pages of translated Scripture? What will stimulate the interest of the people from a mostly oral culture and make them want to read and be more engaged with the New Testament in their own language?
Wycliffe in the Democratic Republic of Congo invites fellow followers of Christ to partner with them as they work with the Christian community to explore just how to use the arts, audio and visual media to communicate the powerful message of God's Word. Wycliffe is working with local Christians to create audio recordings of Bible stories, Bible readings, and Bible messages put to song, as well as, visual products such as dubbed Bible films and animated slide shows of Bible stories designed for cell phones so that God’s Word would be more accessible in the DR Congo.
Thank you for considering partnering in Bible translation with Wycliffe in the Democratic Republic of Congo through your financial and prayer partnership of the Media Services – Making Translated Scriptures More Accessible project.
