As You Begin …
Advent reminds us that our hope is not found in perfect circumstances but in our faithful God. As you spend time in Scripture over the next four weeks, we pray you’ll be reminded that God is near, He is still at work and He is faithful to His promises.
You’ll walk alongside Mary, Joseph, the shepherds and the angels as they wait, trust and then respond to God. You’ll also meet people around the world who are experiencing the hope of Jesus through Scripture in a language they clearly understand.
May this Advent be a time to slow down, draw closer to Jesus and wait with hope.
Invite Someone to Join You This Advent
Waiting is often easier when we don’t do it alone. Invite a friend, a family member, a small group or a church community to spend Advent with you in “Hope in the Waiting.”
Pray for People Still Waiting
The Good News proclaimed at the first Christmas was for all people. Yet many people around the world are still waiting to experience God’s Word in a language and format they clearly understand.
As you prepare your heart for Christmas, join us in praying for Bible translation and for people around the world to experience the hope found in Jesus.
