At Wycliffe Bible Translators we believe that when people encounter Jesus through Scripture, lives are transformed forever. Lack of Scripture is a massive barrier to evangelism, discipleship, church planting and other forms of ministry, and today there are 833 languages that still need Bible translation work started for the first time.


 


As a supported* church relationship facilitator your contributions will invite diverse churches from across the U.S to play a part in God’s global mission. Are you ready to join in this transformational work?


 


You’ll make an impact when you...



  • Invite the U.S. Church to support the work of Bible translation.



  • Share about Bible translation at church services, committee meetings and other events



  • Maintain relationships in your portfolio of churches and host guests in person.



  • Advocate for programs with church partners and networks.



  • Assist with coordinating communications, events and teams as needed.



  • Cultivate relationships, coordinate sponsored events and represent Wycliffe at community events.



  • Develop strategies with senior leadership and board members.



  • Assist with special projects and events in your region.



  • Provide input to leadership, board members and community leaders.



  • Ideate for new structures and strategies.



  • Develop strategies and plans for building relationships with churches.



  • Process reports, travel plans and budget requests.



  • Use Salesforce to keep accurate records.



  • Collaborate across departments.

  • You’re aware of other missions organizations and the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement.You are excited to invite the diverse U.S. Church to support the work of Bible translation.



  • You are willing to travel domestically up to 20% of the time, and occasionally travel internationally and work in the evenings as necessary.



  • You demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification).



  • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

*ABOUT SUPPORTED POSITIONS


Wycliffe Bible Translators is a faith-based organization, and as supported staff (missionary) you will receive a non-traditional salary (including benefits and ministry expenses) through the faithful giving of your personal partnership team. We provide extensive training and resources as you build your financial and prayer partnership team.


 


Non-traditional salaries are needs-based determined by factors of housing and personal expenses based on geographic location, including dependents and their ages, retirement savings, ministry expenses and taxes. Although salaries vary significantly and it’s not possible to provide an exact number for this position, a typical non-traditional salary for a missionary household is $42,600 to $80,982 annually. These salaries do not include your partnership-raised funds for health insurance, worker’s compensation insurance, or Wycliffe assessment.
