In Cameroon, five language communities are asking for more of Scripture.
The Tikari Cluster project is helping the Akoose, Babanki, Bum, Meta’ and Oku communities translate Old Testament portions so families can experience the Word of God in their language.
When the Oku New Testament was first presented to the king of the community, he couldn’t contain his joy. He urged his people to use the translation in churches and schools, and the community listened.
Local pastors report that since the New Testament became available in Oku, more people have confessed faith in Jesus, and one church now holds more baptisms throughout the year than ever before!
These communities are asking for the full counsel of God’s Word, starting with several Old Testament books.
As a part of the Women of the Word community, you have a powerful opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Your gift today helps bring the Old Testament to five communities in Cameroon who are eager for more of God’s Word. And when you give by March 13, your donation will be matched 2x — up to $5,000 — helping your gift go further.
Will you help us reach our $20,000 goal?
Give now, and be part of bringing the full counsel of God’s Word to families who are waiting.
