This year, the Tale people in the Central African Republic are rejoicing: For the first time, they will celebrate Christmas with the story of Jesus’ birth told in their own language! The translation team recently completed this portion of Scripture, and now they’re sharing 200 printed copies and audio recordings of it throughout the community. 

There is also meaningful progress in the Swar Old Testament Cluster in South Asia. During a Scripture checking session, a widow heard Jeremiah 31:3 in her language and said, “For the first time, I feel like I belong in God’s family.” 

Monsi, another Swar Old Testament Cluster community member, shared: “People are excited to read the Bible in their own language, with many saying, ‘God is speaking to us in our language!’ … Through translation, God’s message is reaching hearts, changing lives and creating a stronger, more connected community.”
